  • National Summits on Lipids: Organized at New Delhi (2012), Chennai (2013), Bhubaneswar (2014), Kaziranga (2015) and Jaipur (2016), Delhi (2019), Mumbai (2022).
  • Annual International Summits on Lipids at New Delhi since 2014.
  • South East Asian Summit on Lipids at New Delhi in 2017.
  • Educational activities: at Leh-Ladakh (2015), Pune (2015), Chennai (2015), Srinagar (2015) & Thimpu, Bhutan (2016).
  • C.M.Es: More than 100 CMEs have been conducted all over India in since 2012.
  • Lipidologist Programme at New Delhi, Mumbai Lucknow & Kolkata in 2013
  • Annual Lipid Certification Course endorsed by International Atherosclerosis Society(IAS) since 2014. We were the national organization in South Asia to start this course. Qualified candidates attain competency in treating all challenging cases of dyslipidemia.

  • Screening of 2502 adolescents in Delhi-National Capital Region in 35 free lipid screening camps
  • Initiated first ever Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) Registry in India to detect and treat FH cases.

    1. Prevalence of Dyslipidemia in 2502 school children in age of 14 to 18 years. Abstract published in Journal of American college cardiology (JACC) in year 2013.
    2. Published Expert Consensus Statement on Recommendation in Management of Dyslipidemia in Indian Patients in March 2016 in Journal of Physicians of India (JAPI).
    3. Published Expert Consensus on Recommendation in Management of Dyslipidemia in special population (Part 2) in December 2017 in Journal of Clinical Lipidology.
    4. Expert consensus Statement on Recommendations in Management of Dyslipidemia in Indian patients (Part 3), sent for Publication.

    For the first time in the world, LAI utilized popular Indian sport of Cricket to spread awareness among all specialties of medicine regarding association of dyslipidemia and coronary artery disease.

    3. 1st LAI Healthy Heart Interbranch DMA (Delhi Medical Association) cricket tournament on 1st April 2018 at Siri Fort Sports Complex, Delhi.
    4. 1st LAI All India Healthy Heart Medicos Cricket tournament at Delhi on 23rd and 24th December 2018 Delhi.
    5. 3rd LAI All India Healthy Heart Medicos Cricket tournament at Delhi scheduled on 20th, 21st & 22nd December 2019
    6. A proposal has been submitted to Govt Of India with recommendations for reducing heart disease in India.
