Little Hearts Need Big Support
The Lipid Association of India (LAI) has initiated a fund collection drive to support children with familial hypercholesterolemia.
We currently have six children with homozygous FH (HoFH) who are unresponsive to inclisiran and require evinacumab, which costs approximately INR 19 lakhs per patient per year.
LAI is committed to providing free medicines to registered patients; however, the cost of advanced therapies is substantial. All donated funds will be used directly for patient treatment, with any remaining expenses covered by LAI. Donors will be acknowledged on the LAI website (https://www.lipid.net.in/donate)
Donors are requested to kindly provide their address with PIN code and PAN number to facilitate issuance of tax receipts as per income tax requirements . This may take a few extra minutes, but every contribution can help save lives. Donations are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G.
